Nitro crawling doesnt really work because with caruburetors, the extreme angles in rock crawling may cause the carb to starve, or "load up," meaning choking because it's getting too much fuel. Trust me, I've thought that nitro crawling would be cool, too.....

Hmmm....I would like to see that thing run the rocks. Still, I think that a crawler's got to have solid axles. But that's only my opinion.

Never heard that a independent suspension nitro could crawl, strange, but looks very nice.

I think the revo could do well enough to have some fun with if you converted it to electric, tightened the slipper all the way, installed the LT rockers and locked the diffs. I dont think it would make for a comp-worthy rig though.

the closest thing i could think of being at least a decent comp crawler would have to be the x-factor.

Ugh... Noise is #1. Did ya ever think about the fact that 99% of the time we're crawling in a public place? Then you have the smoke, and the fuel spitting from the exhaust all over the rocks. SO, you're in the middle of a public park running a fuel spitting "crawler" all over the natural terrain and it sounds like a small chainsaw. So, the next time someone asks if it's ok to run their crawler where you did, all the park people think of is your loud, obnoxious P.O.S. and start denying legitimate electric crawlers.

yeah i thought about the noise..after i was running my tmaxx around, it would give me a big head ack so for crawling i am going stick to electric.
