This is a 13yr old Stadium Blitzer. I got it from my brother in-law.

very cool, i had a blitzer back in the day. unfortunately, these have been out of production for several years, to find a replacement, you'll have to keep an eye out on Ebay or check out sites like tamiyaclub.

Any ideas as how to repair it. It snapped where the long bolt goes into the frame to bolt on the axle.

Can you take a picture of the damaged area and post it?

I have it held together w/ gorilla glue and radiator hose tape, seems to be working for now.. other than that if someone could please suggest a more permanant solution, I will be happy to try it.

ouch indeed. don't think you are going to be able to salvage that one, keep an eye out on Ebay or tamiyaclub for a new chassis.

I am afraid the guys are right, you might , just might be able to repair it with some really good epoxy or a plastic weld system, but I would keep an eye out for a new chassis or maybe even another donor car for more extra parts.
I would put that car away on a shelf and buy something else to bash with.

My experience has always been once you break something off of the chassis the best thing to do is replace the chassis, because 9 times out of 10 anything you try to use to glue or tape it back together is only going to be a temporary solution because of how much wear the chassis actually takes....I know it's a long shot given the age of the vehicle, but if you look on e-bay, tamiyaclub, like oldschool said you might find one, or you can look on other sites like rc universe, or beat my truck. Other then that.....and this is an extremely long shot, but it doesn't hurt to ask.........check with your lhs and see if their supplier would be able to get one for you, or send an e-mail directly to tamiya. Hope these ideas work and good luck with your search.
