I think you should get the biggest baddest monster truck engine out on the market.

what other motor ideas do you have?
Does it have to be a mid range motor?
What do you want to spend?
What are your intentions...racing or bashing?

the motor can be anywhere from a .21-.28
anything from $290.00 and under
it's going to be used just for racing.
i'd get the sirro.
but if you want a crazy fast engine get the o.s. .21 v-spec.

O.S. has dropped the .18 engine that was currently available for the Revo. They have however made a .21 that will bolt right in the Revo with no modification. This would be a great choice for the Revo but thats only my opinion...

I would go with the O.S. V-Spec for about $300.00 (whats another 10 bucks?). However, you will have to check with your club racing rules. If you go by RC Pro Series rules, you can't race with a .21 and over unless you increase the weight of your truck. But anyway, if you are willing to spend the money, I know you wouldn't be dissapointed. However, if you have a stock drivetrain through, you will probably tear it up.

Have you checked out the SH motors or STS's? They have more bang for the buck. They have some of the highest HP for thier size and a great power curve.

Depends also on what you want , the Picco .28 is gonna need a big block kit to install it and a side exhaust to work properly , you will also need a starter box .
The RB TM523 will bolt in , has its own rear exhaust system , you can use the EZ starter , pull starter , or roto starter .
The Picco probably has more power , but the RB is simpler to install .
But are monsters and will make the REVO fly , you might have to upgrade the drivetrain too .

WHAT!!!
will it work if I get the BB. kit and grind the suspension arm and the engine mount?
I seen this for the picco .21max,,, I figured that it would work because the picco .28 and .21 are the same sizes on the outside
(engine cases are the same)

I would just get the big block conversion kit. Racing, I would go with the RB engine if that is your two choices.

Sure you could shoehorn it in there if you want too . I think youre getting the P3 .28 mixed up with the Picco .26 MAX , it will bolt in and uses the stock exhaust ....
